2011-12 Season

In a career-high 23 games, averaged 9.8 minutes, 3.0 points and 2.8 rebounds … season-highs were eight points vs. Merrimack Nov. 22 and seven rebounds against Holy Family Nov. 12 … appeared in 22 of the first 23 games before injuries limited her to just one game after Feb. 8 … that came Feb. 18 when she started on Senior Day and scored Bentley’s first six points … had four offensive rebounds three times: Nov. 13 vs. Felician, Dec. 3 vs. Southern New Hampshire and Dec. 29 against Dowling … also had four assists and four steals in the Felician game.

2010-11 Season

2009-10 Season

Averaged 11.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in 20 games … started all three games in the postseason, her first starts since Dec. 18 … missed nine games from Dec. 28-Jan. 23 and the Feb. 3 game with a leg injury … after her return on Jan. 26, averaged 7.5 points and 5.9 rebounds while playing 19.4 minutes a game … finished second on team in rebounds, defensive rebounds and offensive rebounds despite being sixth in minutes … at the time she was sidelined in late December, was number two in the Northeast-10 in rebounds (9.4 per game) and fifth in the conference in scoring (15.3) … five double-doubles, including a 21-point, 10-rebound effort in the season-opener against Holy Family Nov. 15, her first game in about 54 weeks … season-best 13 rebounds, along with 16 points, Nov. 29 against Southern New Hampshire … went to the line at least four times in 14 of 20 games … ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District 1 third team (college division) … two appearances on the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll during the month of November … team’s Scholar-Athlete Award winner for the second straight year.

Averaged 9.7 points and 10 rebounds during the Disney Tournament before suffering a season-ending knee injury … started all three games at Disney … opened season with 15 points and 12 rebounds vs. Lake Superior State Oct. 31, the first double-double of her career … grabbed 10 rebounds vs. Columbus State Nov. 2 … received team’s Scholar-Athlete Award. 

2007-08 Season

Was selected as Bentley’s Most Improved Player following a season that saw her appear in 20 games and miss ten games midseason due to injury … averaged 13.7 minutes, 3.4 points and 2.4 rebounds overall … made one steal every 13.7 minutes she was on the court … averaged 1.7 points and 1.7 rebounds in first ten games, and 5.1 points and 3.1 boards after returning from injury … shot 32 percent before the injury and 48 percent after, when she was playing more in the frontcourt … had 12 points against Southern Connecticut Feb. 26 in the regular season finale and 11 against Assumption in the NCAA Regional … the latter performance earned her a spot on the NE-10 Weekly Honor Roll. 

Before Bentley

A 2006 graduate of Arlington Catholic High School where she finished as the Cougars’ all-time leading scorer with 1,560 points … as a senior, was named to the Boston Globe Super Team after averaging close to 25 ppg and leading AC to its third straight Catholic Central League championship … two-time team captain in basketball and also the volleyball captain as a senior … helped Cougars win league championship every season of her high school career … two-time CCL MVP in both sports … was also named to the 2006 and 2007 Boston Herald All-Scholastic basketball teams … 2006 Boston Globe All-Scholastic … McDonald’s All-America nominee … member of 2006 Boston Herald All-Scholastic volleyball team.

Graduated Magna Cum Laude May 21, 2011 with a Bachelor of Science degree in corporate finance and accounting, and is now pursuing her Masters of Science in Accounting … two-time recipient of the team’s Scholar-Athlete Award … outstanding student who made the 2007-08 Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll and the 2010 Northeast-10 All-Academic team … age as of Nov. 15, 2011: 22 … daughter of Brian and Susan Caira … has an older brother, Robert (29) … participated in Make-A-Wish, Autism Walk and Junior Falcon Day … also an Open House Ambassador.
